This week REPORT FROM SANTA FE features an encore presentation of Laurence Gonzales, author of "Deep Survival: Who Lives, Who Dies, and Why," and the sequel "Surviving Survival: The Art and Science of Resilience." His newest book is "Flight 232: A Story of Disaster and Survival," about the historic plane crash in 1989 in Sioux City, Iowa, where 184 out of 296 passengers survived. Deep Survival was the first scientific book on survival. It set the bar and started a trend that spawned a spate of imitations.

This program will air on KENW (Portales)and KRWG (Las Cruces) while KNME (Albuquerque) will feature special pledge drive programming.
